For example we had a whole day of Angkor Wat and other temples and on day two decided that we had had enough of temples , and that we wanted to go and see the floating village plus museums etc. Nothing was too much trouble and they suggested a nice alternative itinerary. It was especially nice that there were ice cold towels to wipe your face and ice cold water available any time you wanted it.

Excellent english speaking guide  - The driver uncle was well behaved, gave us all the relevant information. He could speak english well, which was very helpful given language challenges we faced in Cambodia.

Seiha made us feel really safe and welcomed in his hometown.

Siem Reap temple tour Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, and Ta Prohm  - The tour was very enjoyable. Our tour guide, Mr. Sorphorn Seyha was able to maximize the experience of touring the temples with expert suggestions on when to visit each site... read more to avoid the crowds. Our group learned a lot of Cambodian history. Given the magnitude and detail of these temple complexes considering the time they were built gives a feeling of awe. We will definitely go back and take the longer 7 day tour. One day is not enough.

Siem Reap is very peaceful and safe when we went there. The border unrest does not directly affect the area and is happening far away.

Best of all, our guide Soaphoan made the experience educational and comforting from start to finish! We learned SO MUCH about Cambodia and it's history, and that's all due to Soaphoan's personalized and informational guide style. This is an educational tour with some impressive historical sites. Also, I felt much better supporting a smaller tour company versus the larger ones. It absolutely felt more personal.
